Scotland offers some of the finest sea kayaking in the world. For experienced paddlers wanting to explore our coast, Kari-Tek can hire out sea kayaks at a competitive rate. Equally, if you’re thinking of buying a boat from us, you may wish to take advantage of this service for an extended trial - we’ll give a discount on the price of your kayak if you decide to buy having hired out a boat beforehand.

We have the entire range of Sea Kayaking UK kayaks available: the Romany (LV, standard and S models, plus the brand new Romany RM), Explorer (LV, standard and HV models), Greenlander (Pro, standard and Race) and the double Triton.

We can also provide the full range of Rockpool kayaks: the Alaw, the Alaw Bach and the Menai 18. From Kirton Kayaks we have the C-Trek and Inuk; from P&H we have the Cetus, the Quest LV, the Sirius, the Capella 161, the Capella 167 and the Capella RM.

Each of our hire boats is fitted with one of Kari-Tek's skeg systems, including the Hydro Skeg® and the revolutionary new Skeg Rudder System.  So not only can you try out the boat, you can also put our skeg systems through their paces.

Our kayak hire includes Reed Chillcheater spray decks. You can also hire paddles (we have Lendal or Ainsworth paddles), bouyancy aids or other equipment at extra cost.
