for canoes, kayaks and bikes.
New for the 2010 season is Kari-Tek’s Easy Switch Trailer. Particularly suited for outdoor centres, the Easy Switch Trailer system allows a single trailer chassis to be switched quickly and easily between any of a range of cost-effective, free-standing load racks for boats - white water kayaks, sea kayaks or Canadian open canoes - or bikes.
Storage rack and trailer in one
What's more, the trailer racks are free-standing so they work as a self contained storage rack when not on the trailer - no need to unload after use!
Switch loads with one person
Switching racks is quick and straightforward - robust, removeable legs allow loaded racks to be safely switched on and off the trailer chassis by just one person. Racks and trailers are built with the same strong, corrosion resistant, hot-dip galvanized steel construction as all our trailers for years of trouble-free use.

The Easy Switch Trailer boat racks carry up to 12 kayaks - whether sea kayaks or whitewater, surf or play boats - or 6 open Canadian canoes; the Easy Switch Trailer bike rack takes up to 14 bikes - mountain bikes or road bikes.
Accessories
Either rack can take our optional low profile, lockable aluminium kit box (see below) which remains attached to the rack when dismounted from the trailer, plus our bungee cord kits for quick and secure loading.

Optional extras
Equipment box
The Kari-Tek storage box is positioned under the racks so there is no loss of boat carrying capacity. The solid aluminium box measures 230cm long x 95cm wide x 35cm high – big enough for paddles and other gear. It is fitted with locks as standard, opens at one end, has a drain hole and is fully enclosed to protect your gear from road spray. Price: £375.00 incl VAT.
Bungee kits
Bungee kits are available as an option. Permanently fixed to the spars, the bungee cords are fitted with strong, adjustable, plastic hooks which are quick, easy to use and secure. Each trailer section requires two bungee cords. Price: £8.95 incl VAT per set of two cords.
