In an exciting new development, Karitek are on the move, opening a new showroom at Ardrishaig in Argyll in Scottish Canal's new Maritime Hub. Located on the shores of Loch Fyne at the entrance to the Crinan Canal - Scotland’s most beautiful shortcut - the move is part of Karitek's longer term plan to serve the broader water sports market, while continuing to provide the very best customer service in all things kayaking.
Sitting on the Argyll Sea Kayak Trail and just over 2 hours drive from Glasgow, the new shop is well placed for access to many great kayaking opportunities on the Argyll coast. And as part of the lochside Maritime Hub, the shop is adjacent to the excellent Steamer Terminal cafe and the new Egg Shed maritime museum and community space, worth a visit in their own right. We will be there for the official opening of the Hub on Friday 2nd August from 11am which also features music, activities and stalls in the Pier Square.
Our move west does not mean we will be forgetting customers local to our previous shop in Coylton as we plan to continue our boat demo days for clubs and individuals in Ayrshire. Ordered Easy Load Roof Racks can also be collected from Ayrshire by arrangement. Online sales from https://www.karitek.co.uk will continue unaffected by the move.
Karitek's shop will be open on a limited basis at Ardrishaig from Friday 2nd August, with a full opening of our new showroom planned for early autumn. Phone and email contacts remain unchanged (01292 571 019 firstname.lastname@example.org). We look forward to welcoming you to Ardrishaig soon! As we're often out and about with kayaks, kit and caboodle over the summer months, drop us an email or give us a call to check when our Ardrishaig base is open.
